The Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization that partners with the Saint Paul Public Schools, City of Saint Paul and community organizations to increase student success for children attending Saint Paul Public Schools. Founded in 1995, the Foundation coordinates the Tutoring Partnership for Academic Excellence; makes grants to teachers, schools and community organizations; and mentors students through New Lens Urban Mentoring Society. As an affiliate of The Saint Paul Foundation, the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation administers the Saint Paul Fund for Teachers program. The Saint Paul Fund For Teachers has awarded over $500,000 in grants to over 130 Saint Paul Public Schools teachers.
