The Houston Technology Center (HTC), announced it will honor Fund for Teachers founder, Raymond Plank, at their “A Celebration of Entrepreneurs” gala. This annual event honors Houston entrepreneurs who have made a significant impact in the community. Learn more about the event, here.

We know that teaching is an art and a science; teachers are creative and committed to their craft. As evidenced by stories in this issue of Odyssey, effortful practice for these teachers included becoming a propellant in a physics experiment, assimilating into a different culture and returning to the role of student in a seminar. The complexity and the perseverance exercised in the pursuit of new knowledge make these, and all of our Fellows, leaders in their field.
