AchieveMpls (Minneapolis Program)

AchieveMpls is the nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the supporting students of the Minneapolis Public Schools. Its mission is to galvanize community resources to help all Minneapolis Public School students succeed in school and become productive members of society.

AchieveMpls facilitates school-business partnerships that enhance learning, raises funds for school reform initiatives, and provides students with career and post-secondary exploration experiences that make learning relevant. AchieveMpls manages STEP-UP, the City of Minneapolis' summer youth employment program, coordinates the annual Principal for a Day®, administers grant and scholarship opportunities for teachers and students, and serves as the local education fund to administer financial contributions to schools and the Minneapolis school district. AchieveMpls operates Career and College Centers in Minneapolis Public high schools providing resources for students to explore career paths after graduation and prepare for post-secondary education.
