The Plank Fellowship The Plank Fellowship for Teaching Excellence award was officially unveiled in January, 2005 in honor of Raymond Plank, Fund for Teachers founder. It will be awarded yearly to the person who most exemplifies the organization's mission.

2006 A trio of Oklahoma teachers have been named as the second recipients of the Plank Fellowship Award.

2005 The 2005 Plank Fellowship is awarded to Matthew Roberts of South Brooklyn Community High School in Brooklyn, New York. Roberts traveled to China on his fellowship, working with Chinese teachers who teach English classes.
