He was my high school chemistry teacher long ago. It was the most difficult class I ever took, but he was there for me and others, both before and after school. He knew I needed to have a grade of B or better, but he made me earned it. A few years back someone ask my brother and I who our best teacher ever was, and we both said at the same time, Mr. Carpenter, interesting considering we took Chemistry 13 years a part. All the more interesting was that I was not to be a Science major, but took Chemistry in college, and earned an A thanks to Mr. Carpenter’s help in high school.
